• Develop production and transport schedule for component parts.
• Update schedule on a daily basis to rapidly identify schedule risks and flag technical problems for resolution.
• Communicate with vendors on a daily basis to track components to schedule.
• Develop and coordinate recovery plans to minimize the schedule impact of technical problems and slips in delivery dates for component parts.
• Present schedule status daily or weekly to your personnel.
• Identify technical problems effecting delivery schedules and coordinate with your engineering staff and vendors to minimize schedule impact.
• Coordinate packing and crating to support ship dates.
• Supervise subassembly and inspection tasks, if required.
• Monitor loading, blocking, bracing and securing of sea containers and break-bulk packaging.
• Resolve documentation problems
